The letter is titled - 'Bihar is not Nitish, Nitish is not Bihar'.

“Bihar CM’s letter is terribly disappointing, resembles a flop comedy film after being shown a much hyped and grand trailer,” NDA leaders have said in reply to Nitish, as per ANI.

The letter also says, “Bihar is yearning for development and good governance, not stale politics, ego battles and Jungle Raj.”

Remarks of the Prime Minister pertained to Shri Kumar’s (and not that of Bihar’s) political DNA. It is evident that Nitish Kumar’s advisors have failed him yet again,” the letter further says.

Days before Narendra Modi's second visit to poll-bound Bihar, Nitish today raked up PM's 'DNA' barb made against him at a recent rally, saying it was "an insult of people of Bihar" and asked him to withdraw it.

In an open letter to the PM, which was released on social media sites Facebook and Twitter, Kumar said the comment was "unbecoming" of the office he holds.

"Your words have been taken as an insult by a large section of the people of the state and beyond. Most of us also feel that coming from you, the comment is rather unbecoming of the office you hold," he said, as per PTI.

The Bihar CM, whose running feud with PM Modi is no secret, referred to PM's proposed Gaya visit on August 9 to drum up support for the BJP in state election and said he was writing this letter on behalf of those who felt hurt by the statement.
