The new RJD national executive has new faces like Lalu Prasad Yadav's sons, Tejashwi and Tej Pratap.

Lalu's elder daughter Misa Bharti is also in the national executive.

Shahabuddin has more than 50 criminal cases of murder, extortion, kidnapping and so on pending against him, as per media reports.

He is presently lodged in Siwan jail.

A Siwan court had in December last year sentenced Shahabuddin and three others to life imprisonment in a 2004 double murder case.

Satish Raj (25) and Girish Raj (20), sons of a businessman, were abducted and killed on August 16, 2004.

Defending the induction, former Bihar CM and Lalu's wife Rabri Devi compared the convicted MP with the BJP chief Amit Shah.

"Why doesn't the BJP put its house in order first? Why don't they remove Amit Shah instead of questioning us?," she was quoted as saying by media.
