Arvind Kejriwal accuses CBI of scanning DDCA files in CM`s office, says Jaitley lied in Parliament
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accused Finance Minister Arun Jaitley of lying in the Parliament over the CBI raid.
New Delhi: The political slugfest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the BJP-led central government over CBI raid at the office of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's principal secretary Rajendra Kumar got murkier on Wednesday.
Adding fuel to his biggest confrontation with the Centre yet, a furious AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal today tweeted, ''Docs seized from my office. No relation to allegations being probed (against Kumar).''
The CBI even took the copy of file movement register of last one month, Kejriwal said.
“CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office. They wud hv seized it. But after my media briefing, they left it. Not clear if they took a copy,” the Delhi CM's tweeted.

Taking on Arun Jaitley, the AAP chief accused the Union Finance Minister of lying in the Parliament.
Kejriwal had yesterday accused the Centre of targeting him in a day-long CBI raid at the Delhi Secretariat and claimed the real reason for the action was to look for a file relating to alleged corruption in Delhi's cricket body (DDCA) that "traps" the Finance Minister.
Jaitley had later dismissed the allegations, dubbing it "rubbish".

Amid a war of words between the AAP and the Centre, the CBI on Tuesday admitted that it raided 14 places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, including the house of Kejriwal's secretary, after obtaining warrants from a court but termed as baseless the reports that the chief minister's office was among these.
The CBI had on Monday registered a case against Rajendra Kumar on the allegation of abusing his official position in awarding contracts from the city government to a private firm.
