New Delhi: In yet another incident raising concerns over the safety of women in Delhi, a 32-year-old woman from Bihar was allegedly raped and looted by two men in the ladies coach of a moving train between Shahdara and Old Delhi railway stations on Saturday.

According to the ToI report, five women were travelling in the ladies coach and four of them later deboarded the train at Shahdara railway station. 


At Shahdara, three men boarded the ladies coach, according to police. Two men robber the lonely lady in the train's compartment and fled with her bag, while the third man allegedly raped her and even beat her up, the police said. 


Later, two constables boarded the train and saw the man trying to sexually assault the woman who was also trying to resist him. 


When the train reached Old Delhi Railway Station, the man and the woman were taken to the hospital.


The accused, identified as Shahbaz (25), was arrested and a case was registered against him under the relevant sections of law.


The woman was coming to Delhi to attend a family function.
