New Delhi: A fire broke out on Wednesday morning at a tyre godown in West Delhi's Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, officials said adding that no one was injured in the blaze.

Fire service officials said the blaze broke out in the morning on the ground floor of the two-storey tyre godown which also spread to the first floor. Fifteen fire tenders were deployed to douse the flames.


"We got information about the fire around 5.00 a.m. The fire started at the ground floor of the building. No one was injured," a fire department official told IANS.


The the blaze was put out in two hours.


"Currently the cooling-off operation is on," the officer said, adding, "The cause of the fire is being ascertained."
