Earthquake hits Gujarat; tremors of magnitude 4.7 felt in various parts of state

Surat: Tremors of magnitude 4.7 were felt in various parts of South Gujarat on Sunday morning.

Reportedly, the earthquake hit the various parts of South Gujarat at 9:24 AM on Sunday. 

According to latest reports, the epicentre was at 14 kms from Surat district.

There were no immediate reports of loss of life or property in both incidents.
