New Delhi: WildAid China, a charity, has released a bizzare video depicting a dismal future where people have evovled long nasal hair to filter air pollution.

'Hairy Nose', produced by WildAid China as part of its GOblue program, might provoke laughs among the public, but it actually is an eye-catching and thought-provoking concept that projects the issue of air pollution into the distant future.

The short film shows how lengthy nose hair has evolved to filter the smog as people go about their daily lives. But in the age of air pollution, one man refuses to accept it and shaves his nose hair in defiance.


The ultimate message of this video ad is 'change air pollution before it changes you'.


Air pollution levels in China is a severe problem. It is said that last year, 366 out of 366 cities surveyed failed to meet World Health Organization (WHO) air quality standards, including Beijing.
