AP EAMCET 2016 exam dates rescheduled to April 29
The Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education Council has released the new exam dates of Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2016.
New Delhi: The Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education Council has released the new exam dates of Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) 2016.
As per the latest update on the official website of the council, the AP EAMCET exam, which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2016, will now be held on April 29, 2016.
The authorities rescheduled the exams after an order was released by the Andhra Pradesh State Higher Education Council.
The AP EAMCET application form will be announced in February 2016 through the official site of the board. There will be only one and online way to apply.
The candidates have to fill the personal and other details in application form following with application fee which is Rs 250 for engineering and Rs 250 for medical and agriculture. Candidates, those will appear the both exam will pay the fee as Rs 500. Fee will be paid through AP Online/TS Online/debit card/credit card. The candidates should keep a copy of filled application form for the further reference.
The qualifying percentage mark for AP EAMCET exam is 20 percent i.e. a candidate has to score at least 40 out of 160 marks. However, no minimum qualifying mark has been announced for reserved categories so far.
The result of AP EAMCET exam will be announced in the first week of June 2016. The rank will be decided and notified on the basis of score obtained by the candidates in the examination.
Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
AP EAMCET is a state level examination and from this year onwards, it will be held separately to the recently divided Telangana state.
