Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday declared the results of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2016 which is used to shortlist candidates who want to join the IITs and other top engineering colleges.

Students can check results on - jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.


They can check the results by logging on to the official website and clicking on the link ‘JEE Main 2016 Results’.


They should then enter application number, date of birth and name and click on submit.


The (JEE) Main paper I and paper II were held on April 3 (offline) and April 9 and 10 (online).


The exam was held online as well as offline in 132 cities earlier this month.


Nearly 12 lakh candidates had taken this exam of which 19,820 have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) Online while 1,78,408 candidates have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) offline test.


Nearly 40,000 girls have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) test while the rest are boys, according to data released by CBSE.
