Sirsa: At least seven persons were killed and 48 others were left injured after two canter vehicles collided on National Highway in Haryana on Monday.

According to reports, the mishap took place at around 11:30 pm yesterday near Panniwala Mota in Sirsa district. 


A truck, carrying pilgrims from Fazilka in Punjab was returning from Goga Medi while the other had pilgrims from Fatehgarh Sahib. They were going towards a place of religious importance near Bhadra in Rajasthan, where an annual fair is held. 


Six including a woman had died on the spot. The injured were taken to a government hospital in Sirsa. Two seriously injured were referred to a private hospital, one of whom died during treatment.
