"Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has ordered that teachers will not be transferred in the middle of the semester. An inter-district transfer policy has been framed for junior basic training teachers," he said.

"A pro forma has been uploaded on the education department website to invite suggestions for making a transfer policy for secondary education teachers," the spokesman said.

The Haryana government has also made it mandatory for recognised private schools in the state to reserve 10 percent seats for meritorious students from the economically weaker sections in classes two to Plus Two.

"Private schools will not charge any fees or fund from such students of Classes 2 to 8, whereas they will charge fees and funds equal to government schools from students of classes 9 to Plus Two. The expenditure on education of these students will be reimbursed by the Haryana government according to rates fixed from time to time," the spokesman said.
