`300 dengue cases in Kolkata this year`
The number of dengue patients have come down to 300, from last year`s 600, in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation area, Atin Ghosh, member, Mayor-in-Council, in charge of health, said today.
Kolkata: The number of dengue patients have come down to 300, from last year's 600, in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation area, Atin Ghosh, member, Mayor-in-Council, in charge of health, said today.
Stating this, Ghosh said Kolkata is the safest city in the country in so far as malaria and dengue are concerned.
The rapid action force is regularly monitoring the situation in all the wards of the KMC besides holding awareness camps, he said.
