New Delhi: The number of dengue cases in the national capital and its adjoining areas rose to 521, civic officials said Monday.

The number of cases in the national capital rose to 486, while 35 other cases are from adjoining areas of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.


Two people have succumbed to the vector-borne disease so far this year.


The highest number of cases are in the south Delhi municipal corporation area (236), followed by north (107) and east (90).
