Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sushil Kumar visited Israeli defence industries and exchanged views with top naval brass on issues of mutual interests.
As part of his four-day visit, Kumar visited prestigious Israeli defence industries, including the Israel Aircraft Industry which specialises in high-tech weaponry, sources said. During his visit to naval installations and defence industries, the Indian Naval delegation accompanying Kumar received briefings from their Israeli counterparts. The two sides also exchanged views on situations in their respective regions.
Kumar begins his two-day France trip from Friday where his itinerary would include a visit to French warship company DCN International, which along with Russians have offered collaboration in New Delhi's ambitious programme to build 24 hunter and killer submarines indigenously. Bureau Report
