New Delhi: Every year on April 25th, people across the globe take part in a wide range of activities to mark the World Malaria Day.
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), eliminating malaria from 35 countries by 2030 is achievable, although an ambitious goal.
In a video, WHO said that over the past 15 years, there has been a dramatic decline in the global burden of malaria. It said that since 2000, nearly 60 countries have reduced their malaria cases by 75% or more, and the rate of new cases has decreased by 37% globally.
