Public health director Kailash Das said a doctor has been tested positive for swine flu.

"Five swab samples were sent for test to Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC). While other four tested negative, the sample of the doctor tested positive," said Das.

He, however, said the doctor's condition is stable.

Few days back, the doctor had flown to Mumbai and his health deteriorated after returning from there.

Swine flu claimed its first victim of the year in the state Sunday when 42-year old Aditya Narayan Jena died due to the disease at the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack.
