New Delhi: Are you prone to seasonal allergies? If yes, then include more food items that have anti-allergic properties in your daily diet. Seasonal allergies can give you discomfort by causing sneeze, running nose, watery eyes and sometimes congestion.


Here are some food items that helps to fight allergies:


Fish


One should include fish in their diet as it contain Omega 3 fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties that helps in reducing the risk of developing allergies. It also helps to reduce allergic symptoms.


Walnuts and flax seeds

Broccoli, cabbage


Food items like broccoli and cabbage contains quercetin, a flavoniod, which is antihestamine that prevents the body from releasing an allergic response.


Green tea


Drinking green tea is the simple and easy way to combat allergy as it contains antioxidants with antihistamine properties that are extremely effective against allergic reactions.


Oranges, kiwi


One should consume fruits like oranges and kiwis as they contain rich amount of Vitamin C which helps to boosts the immunity level to protect against allergies.
