Light rains occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh since yesterday as minimum temperatures dropped by a few notches in higher hills and tribal areas of the state.

Keylong in tribal Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest with 11.8 degrees while the tourist resort of Manali and Kalpa in tribal Kinnaur district recorded minimum temperature at 12.0 and 12.6 degrees Celsius.
Shimla and Dharamsala recorded minimum temperature at 15.8 degrees, while Bhuntar recorded a low of 19.4 degrees, followed by Solan 19.7 degrees, Nahan 21.2 degrees, Sundernagar 23.1 degrees and Una 25.7 degrees Celsius.
Una was the hottest in the region with a maximum temperature at 35.3 degrees.
The MeT Department has forecast rains or thundershowers at many places in lower, mid and higher hills over the next six days from tomorrow.
