Two separate Law Ministry notifications issued today said 11 additional judges have been appointed to Allahabad High Court.


Yesterday, nine additional judges were appointed to three high courts -- five in Karnataka, one in Patna and three in Madras High Court.


The government had yesterday told the Supreme Court that it has cleared 34 names out of the 77 recommended by the collegium for appointment as judges in various high courts.
