AMU Vice Chancellor says PM Narendra Modi has accepted Muslims, receives flak

The AMU VC courted controversy by saying that PM Modi has accepted the Muslim community.
Zameer Uddin Shah said, people should understand that PM Modi has accepted Muslims and one cannot turn a blind eye to his efforts of taking India to new heights at the international level.
He opined that if the Muslims continue to ignore the present government, it will be dangerous for the community.
Shah recently attended Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's Muslim wing's Muslim Rashtriya Manch's Iftar party. He also shared the stage with RSS leader Indresh Kumar.
Taking pot shots at the AMU Vice Chancellor, Shahzad Alam Burney said in the past Shah met with Muzaffarnagar riots accused and now shared the dais with Malegaon blast accused.
He accused the AMU VC of acting as an agent of RSS.
Former AMU court member and member of executive council, professor Rajaullah Khan said, Shah has played with the sentiments of people by attending RSS' programme.
