Mumbai: Social-activist Anna Hazare on Friday received a death threat after which a police complaint was registered in this regard.
The letter, which was received by Hazare on Friday, warns that the Gandhian won't be spared this time and will meet his end come January 26.
The letter further mentioned that Parener cops will not be able to save Hazare's life anymore and therefore, he should name his successor soon. A case was registered under IPC Section 507 under Parner police station in Ahmednagar district, police official said.
Anna has received several death threats in the past however, despite requests made by Maharashtra government, the anti-corruption crusader refused to take Z-category security claiming he does no fear for his life.
