New Delhi: Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher, after being stopped at Srinagar airport and not allowed to visit tension-hit NIT Srinagar, has shared a special message for the students on Twitter.

In the tweet, Anupam Kher wrote,"Dear NIT Srinagar students: My special gift for you." The Bollywood actor has tweeted a picture with the message.



Anupam Kher was on Sunday was stopped by Jammu and Kashmir Police at the airport in Srinagar and not allowed to visit the National Institute of Technology (NIT), which recently witnessed clashes between local and outstation students.


He was asked to return to Delhi as there were apprehensions of law and order problems.   


Kher reached the airport on Sunday morning and was scheduled to visit NIT to "give moral support to the students".
