New Delhi: BJP president Amit Shah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening, hours after polling in the five-phase Bihar elections ended.

The two are learnt to have discussed the Bihar polls considered crucial for BJP.


Shah met Modi at his official residence soon after the meeting of the Union Cabinet. Some Cabinet ministers are learnt to have stayed back after the Cabinet meeting and took part in the discussion.


Most of the exit polls at the conclusion of voting today predicted that the Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance will win while some forecast victory for the BJP-led grouping.
