New Delhi: Appealing the IAS officers in the Uttar Pradesh towards the fulfillment of his government's dream, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said that Samajwadi Party is going to retain power after Assembly polls next year but the concerned officers will face stern action if SP witnesses fall in votes in any particular area.

Claiming that his government gives maximum freedom to the officers, Akhilesh asked officers to work towards the fulfillment of his government's top priorities like development and law and order in the state.


"Unlike his predecessor Mayawati and Prime Minister Narendra Modi , officer enjoy more freedom in Uttar Pradesh and this Services Week is an example of it," said Akhilesh. 


Akhilesh was speaking on the second day of the Services Week in Lucknow on Friday.


The UP CM said he has dedicated the year 2016 for the welfare of farmers and youths and IAS officers in the state should work to achieve this.
