In an interview with a news channel, when asked if his successor could be a woman, the 80-year-old spiritual leader said that a female has more potential to show affection, adding that her face must be "very very attractive," TMZ reports.

The interviewer even asked him if he was joking. But Lama said that it was true. Dalai Lama has very often referred to himself as a feminist.
