Dawood`s deputy vows to kill Chhota Rajan, says he got nowhere to hide
Chhota Shakeel claimed that he was quite close in Bali but Rajan was locked-up in a prison and hence missed the chance to assassinate him.
New Delhi: Chhota Shakeel, the trusted lieutenant of India's most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, has renewed pledge to kill his former associate Chhota Rajan, who is currently in the custody of Indian security agencies, and said that he would never be safe in India or abroad.
In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, the D-Company's dreaded associate has revealed plans to kill Rajan.
"Yes we had a plan to kill him (Rajan). We have to kill him... we will kill him here (India) also. We will not leave him," Shakeel said.
He claimed that he missed an opportunity in Bali where Rajan was held by Indonesian authorities and later brought to India by the Interpol and the CBI.
Shakeel claimed that he was quite close in Bali but Rajan was locked-up in a prison and hence missed the chance to assassinate him.
He said that his associates had also tried to kill him in Thailand and Australia but he managed to escape.
Indian security agencies agencies have confirmed that Shakeel had a well-prepared “plan to act against Rajan”.
Revealing his plan to kill Rajan in Australia, he said, "They were to go as press personnel to get his (Rajan's) interview. We had arranged for the identity cards and had procured a camera also. We did not get a gun which is why we stopped otherwise we would have killed him.”
Asked if it will be difficult now to kill Rajan, Shakeel said: "It is not difficult. In our dictionary, no name and no work is difficult. What is the harm in trying? Wasn't Salem killed? He had a lot of security also, but the boy killed him. He (Rajan) will also be killed likewise. The day we get the opportunity, we will drop him dead. It is not difficult, it is easy.”
