Details out: What Rahul Gandhi did during his two-month-long sabbatical
As per a report, the Congress MP travelled to four Southeast Asian nations between February-April 2015.
New Delhi: In February-March this year, Parliament had witnessed a tensed Budget Session amid the deadlock over the Land Acquisition Bill. But one person was conspicuous by his absence - Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
He had gone on a sabbatical, or a vacation, or a soul-searching trip, as described by some. But, details have now started to emerge on where did Rahul Gandhi go or what did he do during his nearly two-month long absence from Indian politics.
As per India Today, the Congress MP travelled to four Southeast Asian nations between February-April 2015. And the trips were largely sponsored by a foreign company.

As per the report, Rahul Gandhi departed from New Delhi on February 16. He reached the Thai capital, Bangkok, the same day and spent a day there.
The next day, the Congress MP boarded a flight to Cambodia where he stayed for the next 11 days.
He returned to Bangkok for a day on February 28.
From Bangkok, Rahul travelled to Myanmar for the next three weeks, from March 1-21.
On March 22, Rahul again returned to Thailand and visited the Buddhist Heritage Centre at Ayutthaya. He stayed there for nine days in total.
On the last day of March, the MP flew to Vietnam and again returned to Bangkok on April 12.
He stayed in the Thai capital till April 16 and returned to India the same day.
