New Delhi: Visiting former British premier David Cameron on Friday met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed issues of mutual interests.

PM Modi thanked Cameron for close support during his 2015 UK visit.


"The two leaders discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest," , PTI quoted MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup as saying.


The British leader is scheduled to attend a media event on Saturday.


Camerron demitted office following the Brexit vote in June 2016.
