"If at all these observations by Fotedar are correct, why should he worry? Rahulji is working hard. He is touring the country," Reddy, a former AICC secretary, said here even as he demanded action by the party against Fotedar over his assessments.

Fotedar, a close aide of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, has come out in the open to question the leadership credentials of Rahul and says it is only a matter of time before it is challenged within the party along with that of his mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

Rahul is a reluctant politician like his father Rajiv Gandhi and has his "limitations" as he has not been groomed for the job unlike his father, whom Indira Gandhi herself groomed, says the veteran Congress leader in his yet to be released book, 'The Chinar Leaves'.
