Swamy, whom millions follow on Twitter for his hard-hitting and fiery remarks, took to the social-networking site once again and wrote, “The decision to be secular post 1947 was Hindu decision. British Parliament made three partitions: Hindu India, Muslim Pakistan, and 600 kingdoms.”

His remarks have come at a time when debates over secularism and nationalism are being held in every nook and cranny of the country.
