Unlike other religious monuments, this shrine named Rashtra Mandir does not have pictures or idols of gods. Located adjacent to the biggest Shiv temple, Manmakameshwar Mandir, the shrine has pictures and statues of freedom fighters like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Ashfaq Ullah Khan and Mother Teresa. A huge statue of Mahatma Gandhi and his three wise monkeys are a major centre of attraction in the building.

Located at a walking distance from the famous Agra Fort, the temple witnesses on an average of 200-300 visitors everyday.

Tilkayasta Mahant Yogesh Puri, the man behind the idea of this temple feels that freedom fighters, who laid down their lives for the freedom of the country, should be worshipped like gods.
