While speaking exclusively to Zee Media, Das, who currently resides in Kolkata's Dum Dum area, said that he first met Indrani, accused in Sheena murder case, in Guwahati and they both started seeing each other. However, he completely rejected reports of marrying Indrani in 80's.
Das maintained that he stayed at Indrani's residence along with her parents and they both had two babies - Sheena and Mikhail - born in 1987 and 1988 respectively.
Further disclosing more information about Indrani's past, Das said that in 1989 she suddenly disappeared after telling him that she is going to Shillong to complete some work. However, she never returned.

Indrani, husband of former STAR India CEO Peter Mukerjea, is accused of killing Sheena in a moving car with the help of her ex-husband, Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai en route from Bandra in Mumbai to a forested region of Raigad, some 95 from Mumbai, on April 24, 2012.
Sheena's body was later allegedly doused with petrol, set on fire and buried in the area.
Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria told media persons last week that former husband of co-accused Indrani, Sanjeev Khanna has cracked and confessed to his role in the crime.
