Chandigarh: Close on the heels of the deadly terror attack at an airbase in Pathankot, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday foiled an infiltration attempt near the India-Pakistan border.

As per ANI, three men tried to enter the Indian territory from across the border in Sehjra bulge area near Pathankot.


While one of the suspects was shot dead, the other two managed to flee.


 


A manhunt has been launched to nab the two.


The incident comes just weeks after the Pathankot Air Force base terror attack in which six terrorists and seven security personnel were killed.


The Pathankot terrorists had infiltrated into India through the border and managed to enter the Air Force base with a massive haul of arms and ammunition allegedly with help from an insider.
