JuD chief Hafiz Saeed asks Nawaz Sharif government not to allow Rajnath Singh to visit Pakistan
Rajnath Singh is scheduled to travel to Islamabad for SAARC interior and home ministers conference on August 3.
Delhi: JuD chief Hafiz Saeed has advised the Nawaz Sharif government and traders that all the business activities with India should remain suspended till the 'independence of Kashmir' from India, as per a media report.
At the same time, as per India Today, he has also asked Pakistan government not to allow India's Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to visit the country.
He is reported to have said that Sharif should think about it only if Rajnath allows Pakistan government to visit Kashmir to help Kashmiris.
Meanwhile, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) convened an All Parties conference on Kashmir issue.
JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PML-N leader Raja Zafarul Haq, Saeed and others addressed the conference.
Singh is scheduled to travel to Islamabad for SAARC interior and home ministers conference on August 3.
This will be the first visit by a senior Indian leader to Pakistan following the terror strike on the Pathankot air base.
This visit also assumes significance in the backdrop of violence and tension in Jammu and Kashmir after Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani's death.
India has blamed Pakistan for trying to create unrest in the Valley.
