Parrikar asked Scindia whether he was in touch with the terrorists who attacked the Air Force base in Punjab's Pathankot in January.

According to a report in NDTV, the minister asked this while responding to Scindia's query during the debate.

The Congress party had earlier during the debate alleged mismanagement during the Pathankot anti-terror operation.

When Parrikar said in the lower house that terrorists had entered the cantonment by 3.11 am on January 2, Scindia chose to contest this.

To this, Parrikar shot back: "How do you know they were not inside? Were you in touch with terrorists?"

Reacting to the minister's remark, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi later said Parrikar had been "unable to answer" the queries regarding the attack.
