Lalu Yadav is a descendent of Kans not Krishna: Baba Ramdev

New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has slammed RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for his saying that Hindus also eat beef.

Baba Ramdev – he was born in Yadav caste – said that ugly politics is going on in the country over beef/cow slaughter and people are spreading hatred in the name of Hindus, Muslims, Christians.

Hitting out at Lalu Yadav, Ramdev said a devil resides inside Lalu Yadav and that is making him to support eating of beef.

“By saying that Hindus also eat beef, Lalu Yadav has insulted Yaduvansh. He says he is a Yadav but he cannot claim to Yaduvanshi any more. Such a person can never be a descended of Krishna but surely can be of the lineage of Kans.”

Interestingly, Baba Ramdev praised Samajwadi Party government in Uttar Pradesh for enforcing the ban on beef in the state. He said if the UP government can ban beef then why can't Prime Minister Modi impose a similar ban across the country?”
