Modi's wax statue was installed at the Madame Tussauds Museum in Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok last week.

Modi even got a glimpse of his own wax figure before it was taken to London. Modi was brought face-to-face with the statue at his residence as he could not make it to London for its unveiling.

Praising the hard work of the artists, Modi had said, "What can I say? As far as art is concerned, the Madame Tussauds team is exceptional at what they do. What Lord Brahma does normally is what the artists there are doing."

The figure was dressed in his signature kurta in cream with jacket and featured in a traditional pose making a namaste gesture.

Modi was involved in the creation of his figure and gave Madame Tussauds' artists a sitting in New Delhi earlier in 2016.

Other global leaders whose wax statues are at Madame Tussauds are US President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, South Africal anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela and many more.

Even Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif's wax statues are at Madame Tussauds.

Each figure took a team of artists four months and cost around Hongkong $1.8 million to create.
