Worried landlords in Munirka are now asking their tenants to vacate the rooms rented out to JNU students over the varsity being dubbed as a "hub of anti-national activities", a TOI report said.


Reportedly, two students were asked to vacate their rooms on February 12 and the owner gave them time till only the next morning. 


 


One Abhishek, a resident of Munirka, was asked to stay away from Munirka by his landlord.


A number of youths studying in JNU stay in Munirka as the area allows easy access to the JNU campus.


 


JNU is the centre of controversy these days over Afzal Guru event where anti-national slogans where raised.
