Singh took to Twitter to take a pot-shot on the trio and wrote: “British were against Congress, Modi is also against Congress and now Owaisi has also gone against Congress.”

In another tweet, the Congress leader said, “For Congress nation's interest is first and for rest their personal interests.”

Further citing similarity between Modi, Owaisi and the Britishers, the Congress leader said that they all believed in 'divide and rule' policy.

“They divide the society and Congress believes in uniting the nation,” he added.

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi's brother Akbaruddin had recently critisised Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a video, which had gone viral on the social media, Owaisi has reportedly said that he would wipe out Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress from the country.

Owaisi, who made the remarks during a public meeting at Baba Nagar on January 30 ahead of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, called Congress leaders slaves of the Gandhis.

The AIMIM MLA also taunted Prime Minister Modi's 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas' slogan, saying only a "chaiwala" (tea seller) has prospered after the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
