According to a ToI report, the NIA wants to summon him for questioning and seeks Interpol's help if the Peace TV founder avoids official agencies.

Report said that if Naik fails to turn up soon, the NIA could issue a non-bailable warrant against him and get an Interpol red corner notice issued, which means authorities in Saudi Arabia, where he is believed to be located, would need to hand him over to India.

The NIA wants to quiz Zakir Naik in cases relating to cases relating to 50 individuals who were influenced by his speeches and drawn to violent extremism.

The NIA is probing the funds received by Naik's organisations from different countries after the agency raided Naik's residence and premises of firms such as Harmony Media Pvt Ltd, which makes content for Peace TV.
