Reports said that a consensus was reached between the opposition parties and the government during an all party meet convened by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Monday.

Both sides agreed to debate the issue on Feb 24 (Wednesday). The Budget Session of Parliament will begin tomorrow.

Earlier, Naidu said, “We want a detailed discussion on JNU, people should know what really happened there, the cause and the consequence of the act.”

“There will be total 32 items of business in the forthcoming budget session, including GST,” he added.

Naidu said Budget Session will be crucial and requested the opposition to adopt a positive approach.
