President Pranab Mukherjee leaves for Delhi

Kirnahar: President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday left for New Delhi after spending four days at his ancestral village Kiranhar in Birbhum district to participate in the family Durga Puja.

Mukherjee performed the rituals on the first two days of Durga Puja at his ancestral home at Mirati and had a brief exchange with local media this morning before he left for Kiranhar on his way back to Delhi.

Mukherjee had arrived at Kirnahar on September 30.

This is the third Durga puja for Mukherjee after being sworn in as the President.
