Mumbai: Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the Kapurthala Police to take action against controversial self-styled Godwoman Radhe Maa for hurting religious sentiments.

According to India Today report, the HC directive comes after a petition was filed by a Phagwara, Punjab resident.


The HC has asked the police to take action against Radhe Maa within three months.


The petitioner Surender Mittal had told the court that Radhe Maa mislead people by claiming that she is an incarnation of goddess Durga. He further added she reaches the Jagran (congregation of devouts) dressed as goddess which hurt his religious feelings, India Today stated.
