Nagpur: Taking a u-turn from its earlier stand, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has supported the call for allowing women's entry in temples across the country.

The outfit at the same time advocated that the issue should be sorted out between two parties through amicable talks and discussions rather than street protests.


Bhaiyyaji Joshi, the general secretary of the organisation took a bold position at RSS national council meet held recently and lend the support to Bhumata Brigade leader Trupti Desai over women's entry in temples across the country.


He also called to do away with unfair practices carried out at temples and appealed that men and women in the country should be treated without any discrimination.
