New Delhi: A Mumbai court on Monday extended the judicial custody of Indrani Mukerjea, Peter Mukerjea, Shyamvar Rai and Sanjeev Khanna till May 11 in connection with Sheena Bora murder case.
Indrani Mukerjea along with her husband Peter Mukerjea, former husband Sanjeev Khanna and former driver Shyamvar Rai are accused in the murder case of her daughter Sheena Bora in 2012.
While former media baron Peter was arrested in November 2015 for hiding and destroying evidences in the murder case, Indrani and two others were arrested by the police in August 2015 and continue to be in custody since.
Peter, who has been named in both the charge sheets filed by the CBI as ‘conspirator’ had in April moved an application seeking bail for the second time.
The advocate on the behalf of Peter, said in the bail plea that he was kept in dark regarding Sheena's murder.
