New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that Sister Sally, the Indian mother superior of an aid home in Aden, where four nuns were killed and an Indian priest was kidnapped by gunmen, has been evacuated from Yemen.

The minister announced early Tuesday morning via Twitter that Sister Sally, an Indian national from Kerala and who had gone missing after the old age home attack in Yemen, has been evacuated. 



Earlier, the minister had assured that Sister Sally will be evacuated.


She had also said that India will make all efforts to rescue Father Tom, who went missing in Yemen after the attack on the aid home.
