Gurgaon: The Gurgaon Police on Friday arrested six Nepali citizens for allegedly gang-raping a 20-year-old.

"An FIR has been registered at the DLF Phase 2 police station on the complaint of the victim, hailing from West Bengal, against the six accsed," Deepak Saharan, DCP (East), told the media here.


In her complaint, the victim stated that she, along with her friend, and one of the accused went from Delhi to a guest house at DLF, where the other accused were present, for her birthday celebration on Thursday night. On the pretext of celebration, the accused got drunk and molested/gang-raped her, said police.


Saharan also said the victim claimed the accused beat up her and her friend.


"In the morning her friend managed to escape from the guest house and informed police, who got the victim freed from the clutches of the accused and registered an FIR," he added.


Saharan added that alla the accused were arrested and the medical examination of the rape victim was conducted.


"Police recorded her statement before a judicial magistrate, and further investigations are going on into the matter," he said.
