"I received a phone call threatening me not to speak on Aamir Khan and Islam," said  Sri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik.

"These threats will not stop me from working for Hindutva cause," Pramod Muthalik added.

According to Muthalik, he has received many such threats in the past too.

Pramod Muthalik came to limelight after his men allegedly attacked youths at a pub in the coastal town of Mangalore in 2009.

Also, Aamir Khan is drawing public ire on social media and elsewhere for his intolerance remark.

Khan had said that a sense of 'insecurity' and 'fear' had seeped deep within society.

"When I go home and talk to Kiran (Aamir's wife), for the first time she says, 'Should we move out of India?'" Khan had said.
