Delhi: The Union Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday flagged off eight new trains by remote control.

22813/22814 Paradeep-Howrah Express (Weekly)


58505/58506 Gunupur-Visakhapatnam Passenger (Daily)


56035/56036 Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli passenger (Daily)


58659/58660 Hatia-Rourkela Passenger (Daily)


16863/16864 Mannargudi-Bhagat ki Kothi (Jodhpur) Express (Weekly)


15547/15548 Jaynagar-Mumbai Jansadhran Express (Daily) vii)14613/14614- Ferozpur-Chandigarh Express (Daily)


56665/56666- Byndoor-Kasargod Passenger (Daily).


These trains are a part of the Budget announcements made in the Railway Budget 2014-15 (February and July).


A total number of 22 new train services and one extension of existing train service will be implemented over a period of next ten days.


Out of these 22 train services, eight trains were flagged off today and remaining train services will be implemented in the course of next nine days.
