According to a report published in The News Minute, officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) have denied that the 'darshan' of Lord Venkateswara was closed.

"The 'darshan' is open at the temple as it is getting pilgrims despite incessant rains," the report added.

Also, the TTD officials have appealed to devotees not to bring children and elderly to the temple till the weather gets better.

Reportedly, rain water entered the houses of people residing in low-lying areas causing inconvenience to the devotees.

According to the Indian Metereological Department's forecast, rains would continue in various regions of Tirupati but are likely to decrease at the hill shrine.
